BIOGRAPHY
Cassidy O'Connell: Composer, Vocalist, Copyist...
... is best known for her pierrot ensemble piece "The Abduction of Persephone" which premiered at the Atlantic Music Festival, and was performed at Carnegie Hall by the Constandinides New Music Ensemble. Cassidy holds a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and a Bachelor of Music from the LSU School of Music where she acted as Music Director for the LSU Musical Theater Club and performed in the LSU A Cappella Choir. Her work has been selected by the Parlando New Musical Project, Atlantic Music Festival and has been commissioned to compose for Cara Ramos' pre-med music fusion lecture recital: "The Body".
